Found a new home

Here is a photo of the piece I sent off to the Coraki Art Prize where it found a new home.
Titled "Down Under - The Farm II"  it is a statement about my concern for the affect of the mining boom on our farmlands.

Not to mention the fraking going on under it all, california took the richest farmland and paved it with houses, sad, so sad, now we import much of our food from south america that has no pesticide regulations.

Hi Linda, exactly! Not sure why we can't seem to learn from others mistakes! Our early town planners put 'green belts' around our cities that was supposed to allow for farming. During the '60s and 70s these were rezoned and housing now paves the whole Sydney basin so our food travels further and further each year. The farming centres out of range of the cities are now being desimated by open cut mines and Coal Seam Gas exploration. I could go on....
